Young Auditorium presents world class entertainment from Broadway’s Best Musicals to Contemporary Dance, from World Music to Wisconsin Chamber Choir with Orchestra, from Shakespeares The Taming of the Shrew to The Improvised Shakespeare Company, plus wholesome family events with enough variety to please all ages.
We offer a host of amenities including: Sound Bites a pre show lecture/discussion with dessert and beverages available for purchase facilitated by a member of the company or expert who shares background about the evenings performance; Dinners in the Kachel Center adjacent to Young Auditorium are available prior to several events throughout the season catered by University Dining Services; partake in great conversation with your fellow members, and enjoy appetizers and refreshments at three pre-show member receptions and a thank you celebration at the close of the season, Hearing assistance devices are availble at our information desk; concessions offer a reusable beverage glass that may be taken into the theatre during performances and reused at other events.
