  I've been going to CV Hair Company for almost 2 years now. The atmosphere is relaxed yet professional. The staff is attentive and helpful. My stylist is great - she listens well and always tries to make sure I'm happy with what she's done. The Aveda products used and the little extras, like tea and complimentary hand massages, make me feel pampered. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

  Wonderful little gem of a store. Sue is so helpful w/ any cooking/baking questions I have. Also, very helpful w/ gluten free diets and cooking w/ all natural ingredients. Love going to see what new treats she has!!

  Bartel Beach Cottage by Katie Otto

  I have the pleasure of staying at Bartel's Beach Cottage at least twice a year with a group of friends. It is our favorite trip of the year - we love the kitchen, the decorations, the walls of windows overlooking Rock Lake. We stay in the fall and the winter, and we love looking at the seasons through the windows. We love using the fireplace on cold winter days. It is a beautiful cottage, with wonderful decorations and a gourmet kitchen. Truly our favorite place to be twice a year! Thank you to Troy and Tara for providing such wonderful accommodations!

  Great store, nice owner. My first stop whenever I visit from Chicago. So much to see, always something different from the time before. Prices are reasonable, and most importantly, you feel comfortable taking your time looking around and being able to ask questions or for specific items. I highly recommend this store to anyone traveling to or through the area!
