February 15, 2014 – Cambridge Arts Council Presents A Masquerade

MasqueradeOn Saturday February 15th, The Cambridge Arts Council presents “A Masquerade” – an invitation to the 2nd annual gala event in celebration of the arts. Come meet and mingle, enjoy live music by Charlie Painter and Friends, appetizers, wine, and a live auction of masquerade masks made by local artists.  Art genres represented in the masks include painters, glass blowers, textile artists and more.

Doors Open: 7:00pm

Live Auction:  9:00pm

February 20, 2014 – Third Thursday Poetry Event 

The Friends of Lorine Niedecker sponsor a monthly “Third Thursday” poetry reading event at the Dwight Foster Public Library in Fort Atkinson. Each month, there will be a featured poet, followed by an open mic poetry reading. All poets are encouraged to attend. The length of time allotted to the open mic readers will depend on the number of poets attending.

The featured poet for February is Kimberly Blanchette.
