February 22, 2014 – The History and Science of Wisconsin Brewing

LD Fargo BeerA very special event with author and columnist, Robin Shepard, writer of the “Beer is Here!” column for the Isthmus and three books about beer.

Robin will discuss the history and science of brewing in Wisconsin, while offering insights into a variety of beer styles.

This free presentation will be held upstairs, in Library Hall, at the LD Fargo Public Library in Lake Mills, and is open to the public.

Guided Beer Tasting

Following the lecture, Robin will lead a tasting at Lake Mills’ own craft brewery, Tyranena Brewing Company. Tickets for the beer sampling are $8. Seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased online or at the library’s front desk.
