It’s Halloween! What better time to wear a mask?
Join us Saturday, October 31 for the Not-So-Fast-Wear-Your-Mask 3K at the final Fort Farmers Market of the season, from 8am to noon in downtown Fort Atkinson. Spend the morning enjoying the scenic route at your own pace, participating in Halloween festivities along the way, and ending with take-home crafts and trick-or-treating at the market.
Everything is scaled to allow all ages to participate as much or as little as you like. The route is open in whole or in part, so you can start and finish any time during market hours and there is no official timer. The route begins along the Riverwalk at the base of Brock’s Riverwalk & Tavern to Robert Street, where participants will cross to the bike trail along Jones Avenue. At Jones Market, enjoy some music, temporary tattoos and meat treats, then turn around and come back the way you came, or cross to Jones Park and head towards the Hoard Museum for even more festivities.
This event is the perfect way to enjoy fall harvest produce, celebrate Halloween, and get some exercise! Each registered participant will receive a fun, commemorative t-shirt available at the Fort Chamber on Friday, October 30, or the Farmer Market Community Booth on Halloween.
Masks encouraged, but not required. Prizes given for the best adult (over 16) and kid (under 16) masks!
Register on the chamber's website.
Fees : $25
