Write On the River

From May 11-13, come to Fort Atkinson, bring your journal or laptop, and settle in along the beautiful Rock River to Write On the River.

This self-directed event is in honor of poet Lorine Niedecker’s 120th birthday (May 12).

This event is for people of all ages.

There will be plenty of additional activities happening around town in her honor on Saturday, May 13, including a no-pressure poetry reading at Cafe Carpe, where people may share what they’ve been working on over the past few days if they’d like to (or just drop in and listen to others’ writing samples).
