April 23-25: A Weekend of Events in Jefferson County
The fourth weekend in April holds some great events in Jefferson County. Be sure to mark your calendars for these great ideas:
APRIL 23-25: 44th Annual Spring Jefferson Auto Swap Meet & Car Show
The 44th Annual Spring Jefferson Auto Swap Meet & Car show is happening at the Jefferson County Fair Grounds, April 23-25. The event, put on by Madison Classics, is one of the largest car meets in the Midwest. Tickets are $10 and parking onsite is $5. Kids under 12 are free with a paying adult. Check out the Jefferson County Area Tourism website and/or the Jefferson County Fair Park website for more info. Hours for the event are April 23: 10am – 6pm, April 24: 6am – 4pm, April 25: 6 am – 3pm.
APRIL 23-24: Community-wide Rummage Sale & Used Book Sale in Johnson Creek
Johnson Creek is the place to be for all treasure hunters April 23-24 with their Community-wide Rummage. For more information on participants, please contact CJ O’Neil at [email protected].
Also in Johnson Creek, the Friends of the Johnson Creek Public Library will be hosting a Used Book Sale at the Johnson Creek Community Center from 8 AM to 3 PM on both days.
Plus, there will be a food booth at the Johnson Creek Legion, located at 223 1st Street, both days for bargain hunters to stop by in between treasure hunting stops. And there will be a fundraiser for Sustain Jefferson County at one of the rummage sale homes: 147 Pleasant Run, which features organic potato seeds, seedlings, and plants. APRIL 24-25: December ’63: Tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
Oh what a night you’ll have checking out this tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons show at the Fireside Theatre, the Midwest’s most popular dinner theater!
DECEMBER ’63 showcases all your favorite songs from Frankie Valli including the classics that have been thrilling audiences for decades. This re-creation of a Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons concert will have you reaching for the high notes as their cast takes you on a musical journey with stops at every phase of the careers of Frankie and the boys!
