Barn Quilt Help from Axley
Hopefully you have heard about our new Barn Quilt Tour, which is now up and running on our website. It features more than 40 barn quilts from all corners of Jefferson Count and is a great example of the wonderful agritourism experiences you can have here in Jefferson County. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter so you can discover more adventures throughout the year!
But what you may not know is the great behind the scenes work that helped make this tour happen. One of the behind the scene people and groups that helped bring the Barn Quilt Tour to life is Michael van Kleunan at Axley Attorneys.
van Kleunan is an attorney with Axley Attorneys and also serves as the Village of Johnson Creek’s attorney. van Kluenan was approached to help the Jefferson County Area Tourism Council (JCATC) and their work on the Barn Quilt Tour. He and his team were able to help the group draft release agreements with current and for any future barn quilt participants. If you would like to submit your barn quilt for consideration in the Jefferson County Barn Quilt Tour, please use this form.
Axley is a full-service law firm, founded in 1885, with three Wisconsin offices (Madison, Janesville, and Waukesha) and more than 50 practicing attorneys. They were named the #1 Law Firm in Madison by In Business Magazine‘s Executive Choice Awards for seven consecutive years. Axley provides exceptional legal services to a wide array of clients from individuals and small business owners to multinational corporations…and they help local tourism groups as well!
For JCATC, we appreciated their approach of looking at our situation from multiple angles and felt supported that the work was a true partnership which allowed us to bring the magic of Jefferson County barn quilts to life. Thanks again to Michael and his team at Axley!
