‘Tis the Season of holidays! From Halloween to Christmas, and everything in between, the next three months are full of holiday events you don’t want to miss in Watertown!

OCTOBER

October 26, 5-7pm – TSL Trunk or Treat

October 27, 6pm – Witch’s Brew BINGO  

Entry cost is $25 to play 17, 3-card games. Come in costume for a chance to win additional prizes! Turner Hall, 301 S. 4th St.

October 28, dusk-11pm – Enchanted Storybook Trail 

The Storybook Trail at Brandt-Quirk Park will be lined with paper lanterns so you can enjoy the trail after dark. Bring your flashlight and have fun reading “The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt” along the way. 800 Carriage Hill Dr.

October 29, 10am – 3pm – Pumpkin Palooza 

Enjoy a day of family fun in Downtown Watertown. Horse-drawn wagon rides, living statues, downtown Trick-or-Treat (1-3pm) and more!

October 29, 4-7pm – Citywide Trick-or-Treat 

October 29, 6-8pm – Trunk-or-Treat, Watertown Moose Lodge

October 31, 5-6:30pm – Boo Bash Presented by Watertown Park and Rec

Games, crafts, candy, Zombies vs. Humans game of capture the flag, and more! Brandt-Quirk Park Soccer Complex, 800 Carriage Hill Dr.

NOVEMBER

November 17, 5:30pm – Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

 In addition to the tree lighting, enjoy refreshments, entertainment by the WHS Carolers and an appearance by Santa. Sharp Corner Park, 905 E. Main St. 

November 24, 9am – Run Turkey Run 5k

Start your Thanksgiving holiday with a scenic run through Watertown. Riverside Park, 850 Labaree St. 

November 26-27, 11am-3pm – Watertown Players present “The Nutcracker” at the Octagon House Museum.

Four-scene play set in the historic Octagon House Museum. Performances every half hour. 919 Charles St.

November 26, 5:30pm – Christmas Parade of Lights

Enjoy an after-dark parade full of unique floats, bands, and lots and lots of lights! Downtown Watertown

 

DECEMBER

Stop out to Sharp Corner Park to visit with Santa at Santa House on select dates. 

December 1 – December 31 – Watertown Window Wonderland

Enjoy 9 blocks of Watertown’s historic Main Street dressed to impress for the holidays! Vote for your favorite downtown window displays.

December 2, 6:30pm – Traditional Christmas Carols at the Watertown History Center

Holiday program presented by Cliff Lueck & Wilhelmina Zastrow in the Watertown History Center, on the grounds of the Octagon House Museum. $10 donation to Society is suggested. 919 Charles St. Phone (920) 261-2796

December 4, 1-5pm – Watertown Holiday Parade of Homes

Tour 5-6 beautiful Watertown homes dressed in their holiday best. 

December 6, 5pm – CMN Christmas Movie at the Town Cinema

A classic movie night to kick off the Christmas season! The event is complete with buffet, beer and wine included. This year showing Meet Me in St. Louis. Proceeds benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. The Towne Cinema, 308 E. Main St.

December 9, CP Holiday Train Watertown Stop 

Don’t miss the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train as it makes its way across the United States and Canada, with a stop in Watertown! Enjoy a live music performance straight from a train car. More details to come. Brandt-Quirk Park, 800 Carriage Hill Dr. 

December 9 – December 24 – Jefferson County Deck the House

Countywide outdoor home decorating contest. Vote for top 3 in each community, then choose the grand prize winner of the county!
