For decades spending Christmas at The Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson has been a cherished annual tradition for tens of thousands of families. This year the tradition continues with a concert of glorious Christmas music – secular and sacred – performed by a quartet of The Fireside’s great singers in beautiful and festive Christmas costumes. Running weekends through December 20th the concert features such popular hits as “Silver Bells,” “The Christmas Song” (chestnuts roasting on an open fire), and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas;” such traditional favorites as “White Christmas” and “The Christmas Waltz;” delightful comic songs like “Nuttin’ for Christmas,” Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer,” and “The Twelve Days AFTER Christmas;” and inspiring carols and hymns including “Silent Night,” “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day,” and a glorious rendition of “O Holy Night.” Tons of Christmas cheer come your way in one unforgettable concert. In these uncertain times when we need it most, you can still celebrate Christmas at The Fireside!
A visit to The Fireside includes the performance of course, but also so much more. The festive décor, shops filled with gifts for all ages and décor for your home, a delicious dinner from our award-winning chefs, and our welcoming staff here to serve you all add to the magic of the experience. This year, with all of the Covid-19 safety precautions in place, the audiences are small and properly distanced, yet the joy of a shared experience brings us together in spirit and sends everyone home with renewed hope for a brighter tomorrow. We’re proud to be one more way you can “Enjoy Jefferson County!”
