Dodge County
Leave your devices at home and take a recreational adventure in Dodge County. Hike, bike, cross-country ski, go horseback riding, or ATV along the county’s beautiful trail system. Relax on the lakes or take a gentle cruise on the rivers. The county has excellent camping opportunities. A visit to Dodge County isn’t complete without a stop at Horicon Marsh, the largest freshwater cattail marsh in the United States. It is the site of both a national and a state wildlife refuge, bringing you an experience with nature you won’t find anywhere else.
Janesville
Our neighbor to the south is Janesville where you can recharge your spirit when exploring hundreds of acres of tranquil parkland and miles of peaceful trails. Take in the breathtaking beauty of their award-winning botanical garden and discover the charm of their 13 historic districts and quaint downtown. Milwaukee
Located on the scenic shore of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee makes a great urban-easy getaway. Milwaukee is home to the world’s only Harley-Davidson Museum and the stunning Milwaukee Art Museum with its iconic “wings.” A charming downtown RiverWalk connects a German heritage-inspired district with the lively Milwaukee Public Market in the Historic Third Ward. Add in our beaches, urban kayaking, an extended network of bike and running trails, and a very walkable downtown, and you’ll get a good work-out too.
