Jefferson County Tourism Council Goes to the Wisconsin State Fair!

The Jefferson County Tourism Council spent at day at the Wisconsin State Fair in the Wisconsin Tourism booth on Friday, August 2. What fun we had! We met so many wonderful people from Wisconsin – and far beyond. We handed out the 2013 Jefferson County Tourism Guide, along with all sorts of other goodies throughout the day. And of course, we had a chance to eat a few cream puffs!

Tammi Vetrano of Vetro Winery in Jefferson, an active Jefferson County Tourism Council board member, entertained everyone in her grape costume. Tammi – you are a great sport!

Danielle Thie of Milwaukee was the winner of the Jefferson County Tourism Council gift basket, filled with goodies from our fantastic Jefferson County communities and businesses. Danielle’s name was drawn from the entries received throughout our day at the Fair. She was quite excited to get the phone call telling her she had won, and plans on enjoying the history and experiences she and her family will have as they visit the different places represented in the basket. The basket was presented by Janet M. Werner, Jefferson County Tourism Council board Treasurer, and the Executive Director of the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce.
