August 13-17, 2018 – Farm Camp for Kids
BeefnBeaks Farm is hosting its 3rd Annual Farm and Nature Camp this August. Campers will spend each day exploring nature with nature journals, nature walks and scavenger hunts. They will also help with farm chores by getting eggs out of the coop, harvesting vegetables and fruits, making farm-to-table food, playing games, and creating art inspired by the farm and nature. On Friday, August 17, the campers will help make and serve a farm-to-table meal for two guests they choose.

August 17-19, 2018 – 6th Annual Spyder Rendezvous
“It doesn’t matter what you ride, just ride.”
Rob’s Performance Motorsports in Johnson Creek invites Sypder and want-to-be-Spyder riders to this ride-focused weekend to enjoy the great outdoors, educational seminars, BRP sponsored dinners, auction benefiting the Road Warrior Foundation, and more.
The event is open to the public, but registration is required. Special rider events begin on Thursday, August 16th from Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. Please see the SOAR website for registration and more details on all weekend riding events.

August 18, 2018 – Palmyra Chamber of Commerce Car, Truck & Bike Show
Awards to the first and second place winners in each class plus a “Best of Show” award. Voting by participants only. Dash plaques to the first 75 cars. Show is open to cars, pickups and motorcycles. Gates will open at 8 am, registration will not begin until 9 am.
Judging is from 10am-12:30pm, awards will be presented at 2pm.

Offering riders an option of Quarter Metric (16 mile), Half Metric (32 mile) and Full Metric (63 mile) bike ride. Includes rest stops, SAG support, Radio Communication, Marked routes, detailed maps, and a ticket to the Lion Corn & Chicken Dinner.

August 19, 2018 – Try Cambridge Tri-Triathlon
This sprint-distance triathlon guides participants down the shores of Lake Ripley, along scenic country roads and through beautiful downtown Cambridge. The event will start and end at Ripley Park, an 18-acre, beachfront park complete with restrooms, showers, multiple shelters, disc golf course, playground, and much more! Athletes receive a medal and t-shirt for participation. Awards will be given for first, second, and third place in each race category.
