June 11-12, 2016 – Fiber on the Farm

This annual event brings fiber artist from around the county, they bring their latest creation, equipment and know how, the farm offers a pictures surrounding, set among the rolling drumlin of South Eastern Wisconsin, beautiful Silver Creek Farm host Fiber On The Farm!

This festival is for people that like and enjoy natural fibers for spinning, knitting, and crocheting.

There will be demonstrations of all source of fiber preparations, spinning wheel repair, art and craft relating to fiber, vendor booths for yarn and raw material classes and workshop, all relating to fiber and the process.
Come join us for fun and activities, classes and a chance to visit the enchanting Alpacas.

The farm offers tours throughout the day, visitors learn about the farm history and the enchanting Alpacas that call Silver Creek their home, is a full day of activities, games, classes, shopping, relaxation and food of course.

June 11, 2016 – 2nd Annual Dairy Day at the “Moo”-seum

Cow 2A Celebration of all things Dairy! The Hoard Historical Museum and the National Dairy Shrine Museum host the 2nd Annual “Dairy Day at the Moo-seum” from 11-2pm on Saturday, June 11. Learn about the dairy industry, both past and present, from the cow to the final products of cheese, yogurt, and milk. Come meet local dairy cows in the back lawn of the Museum. Enjoy family friendly activities for adults and children and barn games.

In addition, the Hoard Historical Museum and the National Dairy Shrine Museum will be open for visitors from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
