Start your Thanksgiving holiday with a scenic 5k run/walk through the city streets of Watertown.  All proceeds from this event will be donated to Watertown Family Aid, a local charity which provides shoes, coats, and food to families in need.

November 23 – December 14, 2018 – Watertown Window Wonderland

Watertown Tourism and the Watertown Main Street Program are proud to bring you “Watertown Window Wonderland.”  Over 20 downtown shops have decorated their storefront windows in an attempt to win your vote as the best holiday window.  Ballots can be picked up at any of the participating shops.  Choose your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd favorite, and drop off your ballot at the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce or the Watertown Public Library.  Gather the family and stroll our historic downtown, enjoying the holiday displays made just for you.  It is sure to be Watertown’s most festive season yet! Voting starts now and ends on December 14th at 5pm.  Happy Holidays!

November 24-25, 2018 – A Holiday Play – Performed at the Octagon House Museum

The Watertown Players and the Watertown Historical Society Present ” A Christmas Carol”.  Each scene of the show takes place in the four main rooms on the first level of the Octagon House Museum. The actors will lead the audience through the show, and afterwards those attending will be invited to enjoy holiday treats.

The show will be presented from 11:00 to 3:00 each day, with a new performance every 30 minutes throughout the day. Tickets for the show may be bought the day of the performance at the the museum. The prices are $7.00 for teens and adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under. As in the past, there will be a special admission offer of up to two children 12 and under will be admitted free with one paid adult admission.

November 24, 2018 – Watertown Christmas Parade of Lights

Kick off the season at the Watertown Christmas Parade of Lights! This is an event you don’t want to miss. The parade goes down Main Street in historic downtown Watertown and will feature bands, live music, unique parade units and of course lots and lots of lights! Don’t miss the fun.

On Small Business Saturday, spend the day on the festive streets of Cambridge in our unique specialty shops, offering one of a kind finds and some of your favorite brands, browse our new shops and enjoy breakfast or lunch at one of the local eateries.

November 30 to December 2, 2018 – Cambridge Classic Christmas

Experience Cambridge Classic Christmas in the Victorian village of Cambridge. Do a Day of Play in Cambridge with fabulous shopping,  free horse-drawn hayrides , visits and photos with Santa,  a Fat Tire Ride, Elf Shelf Kids Activities and Shopping, Caroling, Cookies,  Strolling Madrigal Singers, magical Holiday Lights Display at Lake Ripley Park , traditional tree lighting ceremony, CAP’s Breakfast with Santa,  Pet Portraits with Santa and more.

This annual event is one of the keystone events for Cambridge, Wisconsin. Come celebrate the holidays in our quaint, welcoming village. The event runs from Friday evening through Saturday and Sunday the first weekend in December. It’s three festive days of holiday fun.
