The mission of the Jefferson Public Library is to enhance the lives of the people Jefferson and surrounding communities by providing quality materials and services in a welcoming atmosphere. The library offers a variety of materials for adults and children including books, large print books, audio books, movies, music, video games, magazines, and local newspapers. The library has public internet computers located in both the adult and youth department, access to printing and faxing services, and free Wi-Fi. Programs and activities are offered throughout the year for all ages including storytimes for toddlers and preschoolers, programs for homeschooling families, Summer Library Program, and adult reading clubs.
