Fort Atkinson

Hebron Campground: The Hebron Campground sits on about 6 acres of well-maintained landscape that offers a wooded setting along the Bark River. Here, a variety of birds will wake you in the morning, plenty of fresh air, and the fish are always biting. In the evening, enjoy campfires and star-filled skies!

Island Bar & Campground: Jim and Christa Bowers are the new owners of Island Bar and Campground. They are excited to breathe new life into the 9+ acre campground and bar to make it a very special destination on Lake Koshkonong.

Jellystone Park: From swimming, mini golf, wagon rides and volleyball to fishing, playgrounds, premium amenities, and of course appearances from Yogi Bear and friends – you’ll notice that family fun is the main attraction! The park is even in the process of adding a pond with a floating waterpark that will be ready in June!

Pilgrim’s Campground: Pilgrim’s Campground is a clean and quiet family campground with a sparkling pool, playground, and plenty of open space provides activities for all.

Jefferson

Bark River Campground & Resort: Bark River features a beautiful campground with lots of amenities, including a swimming pool and a kiddie pool, canoeing and fishing on the Bark River, and a full service restaurant and convenience store in the lodge.

Jefferson County Fair Park: The Jefferson County Fair Park offers seasonal camping April through October for nearby access to all the fair park action. Limited availability and blackout dates are in place for the Jefferson County Fair (July 7- 12), Labor Day Weekend (September 3-5) and the Sheep & Wool Festival (September 6-12).

Rome Riverside Campground: This 35-acre campground of beautifully landscaped campsites near the Bark River offers seasonal, daily, weekly camping rates.

Lake Mills

Sandhill Station State Campground: The Sandhill Station State Campground has 15 walk-in, tent-only campsites nestled in secluded oak savanna – perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The campground connects to the Glacial Drumlin State trail by a less-than-a-mile walk.

Woodland Beach Resort: Woodland Beach Resort includes a tree-lined park atmosphere with a gently sloping, sandy shoreline that offers comfortable, sand-bottom summer swimming and breathtaking sunsets. On-site amenities include a playground, private beach, brand-new private pier, and a summertime ice-cream and candy shop.

Palmyra Area

Kettle Moraine State Forest (PC: Katie Carey)

Circle K Campground: Circle K Campground is a family-oriented campground with over 99 sites nestled in the Southern Kettle Moraine. Some of the many amenities include a private pond for fishing, nature trails, and much more.

Kettle Moraine State Forest: The Kettle Moraine State Forest – Southern Unit has several camping areas, including Ottawa Lake Campground, Pinewoods Campground, and Whitewater Lake Campground.

    • Ottawa Lake Campground: Ottawa Lake Campground is the only year-round campground in the Southern Unit, and the location is close to the beach and boat launch.
      • Cabin rental, tents, & camper sites
    • Pinewoods Campground: For a completely unplugged experience, this campground offers a designated area for those who want to enjoy the peace and quiet that nature has to offer. Loop 1 (of three loops) is a 24-hour quiet zone, meaning no pets, radios or mechanical device noises are allowed, ensuring a peaceful visit. There are no electrical sites at this campground.

    • Whitewater Lake Campground: The Whitewater Lake campground is a primitive campground with 63 beautiful campsites.

Watertown

River Bend RV Resort: River Bend Resort offers no shortage of family-friendly activities. To name just a few . . . the resort offers a waterpark, swimming pond, bar and restaurant, sandy beach, playgrounds, and more planned activities.

Whitewater Area

Scenic Ridge Campground: Whether you are looking for some family fun or quiet peaceful relaxation, you can find it at Scenic Ridge. Enjoy an afternoon at the beach, on the water or at one of the many planned weekend activities. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the peaceful nights with your family and friends.

Snug Harbor Lakefront Campground: At Snug Harbor, you’ll find excellent fishing, boating and swimming on a private, clean, sandy beach. Rent one of the rowboats or canoes for a relaxing day on the lake, or join in a pick-up game of volleyball or horseshoes. After a long day on the lake, the pub and casual dining restaurant offers a full menu, including Friday fish fry overlooking beautiful Turtle Lake.
