Tourism Marketing Grants In Various Communities

With all the wonderful snow we are experiencing in Jefferson County, many have their minds on great outdoor activities, such as snowmobiling, sledding, ice skating and fishing, as well as snowshoeing and winter hikes on many of our local and state trails.

Outdoor activities are great ways to stay active and many provide natural social distancing scenarios to stay safe during the pandemic. In fact, exploring the outdoors is our number one activity in our Top 5 Things to Do in Jefferson County.

But here’s something you may not be thinking or even know…some communities in Jefferson County have tourism grants available for events that are likely to produce overnight stays.

That’s right! There are marketing grants available in different Jefferson County communities to help promote events. Each community has different guidelines, applications, and deadlines, but here are links to three Jefferson County communities who offer tourism grants. If you have any questions, please reach out to local community tourism and/or chamber offices to find out more information.

We know things have been hard since the pandemic started and many events have been cancelled or postponed. But we are hopeful healthier days are coming and want to share information on resources that may help when events begin to return.
