We’ve extended the deadline to find a writer for our blog and monthly newsletter by ONE DAY!  Please read the following description of the job.

The Jefferson County Tourism Council is accepting bids from experienced writers with newsletter experience for our monthly e-mail newsletter. Familiarity with Constant Contact or similar programs a must, template already exists. Each newsletter to contain three feature stories, researched by you, main feature story would be minimum 350 words, secondary stories minimum 250 words each. Each newsletter would also contain list of events for the next month with links, a special offer or coupon and photos. Topics will be provided by the Tourism Council on the first Tuesday of each month, the newsletter would need to be ready for approval on the third Tuesday of the month and sent out the following Thursday.

The Jefferson County Tourism Council publishes a completely self-funded annual guide that promotes tourism to the county. In addition to the printed book, there is a companion website that contains up-to-date information about the latest events and things to do around the county.
