April 20-June 4, 2017 – South Pacific
One of the most celebrated of all shows by the most celebrated of all musical teams, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s SOUTH PACIFIC is a story of love, of heroism, of courage, of optimism, of America. Set during World War II this epic tale is told with humor, passion, beauty, action, and one of Broadway’s most impressive musical scores featuring such unforgettable songs as “Some Enchanted Evening,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair,” “There Is Nothing Like a Dame,” “I’m in Love With A Wonderful Guy,” and the beautifully haunting “Bali Ha’i.” This is one of the very few musicals to have earned the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The Fireside is proud to present this timeless classic in an all new sumptuous production.
