COMING SOON: 2021 Jefferson County Area Tourism Guidebook & Updated Website!

Everyone at the Jefferson County Area Tourism Council (JCATC) is excited to announce the arrival of our 2021 Jefferson County Tourism Guidebook. They are at the printer and due to deliver on March 15th. That means you can start seeing and picking one up at some of your favorite tourism and hospitality destinations in the county very soon!

And when you do, you’ll notice a couple of exciting new features, including a drawing for a chance to win $100 in restaurant gift certificates from some of Jefferson County’s best and favorite eateries. The contest will be live when the 2021 Guidebooks are received so stay tuned and bookmark the link! Plus, you will find “Top 10” and “Top 5” lists of some of Jefferson County’s most popular and unique businesses and experiences, updated information on county parks, plenty of outdoor recreation ideas, a relocated map to the center of our guidebook, helpful information about both the history and future of the county, as well as event listings. Please know events are changing on a daily basis, so please check back with our website to find updated information and we encourage all to reach out to individual event organizers to confirm events and learn safety guidelines.

While the past year has been incredibly challenging for everyone, some of the earliest affected businesses were (and still are) in the hospitality and tourism-related sectors. Being a group that promotes tourism, we at JCATC made the decision early on to focus on safely promoting what was possible, rather than what was not. And by coming together, representatives from the communities of Cambridge, Fort Atkinson Jefferson, Johnson Creek, Lake Mills, Palmyra, Waterloo, Watertown, and Whitewater found not only support, but opportunities to look at our foundations and creatively refresh our messaging which remains focused on sharing the stories of how you can discover and enjoy Jefferson County.

Within our refocusing, we saw the opportunity to not only reshape our guidebook, but also refresh our website: www.enjoyjeffersoncounty.com. While the address remains the same, our redesigned website will feature even more information on the fun stories that can only be told from Jefferson County. Our website launch is coming VERY SOON, so be on the lookout for relaunch information and links on our website, Facebook, and Instagram pages.

We can’t wait to hear how you like reading our reinvented guidebook, visiting our refreshed website, and experiencing all the fun things there are to do and see in Jefferson County.
