Scenic Drives

Wisconsin Rustic Roads 2020 Edition Cover

Annual WI Rustic Road Guidebook

Jefferson County is situated in one of the most picturesque regions of Wisconsin. Any time during the year you can take off in your car, by bicycle, or motorcycle and drive one of the many officially designated Rustic Roads and Scenic Drives of Wisconsin. The communities of Jefferson County boast 6 beautiful drives and one of the most popular is the 115-mile Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive and the southern end of the drive begins at Whitewater Lake. Along your drive, there are numerous places to picnic, hike, fish, swim, and check out historical markers and sites. For information on the drives in Jefferson county and across the state visit the WI Department of Transportation website.
