-Elias Inn Supper Club- EXCELLENT dinner options are available. They are known for their Friday fish fry and Saturday night prime rib, but whatever you choose will be top-notch!

–Donny’s Girl Supper Club – Another excellent dinner menu that never disappoints. Looking for carry-out, but still want that Old Fashioned drink on the side? Well, they have Old Fashioned mix to-go, so you can mix up that drink in the comfort of your home.

–Sake House – Sushi lovers, I’m talking to you! If you haven’t been here before, you are missing out. Try it on Valentine’s Day and then keep coming back. They have more than just sushi, and have an easy online ordering/pick-up process.

-Sweet Talkin’ Treats – Let this amazing bakery take care of your dessert. Bars, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and so much more to complete your dinner. Stop in to see their selection, or call in advance to custom order something special.

–Glenn’s Market & Catering – This suggestion is more for the home-cooked meal. Pick your protein, bring it home, and create the most mouth-watering meal right in your own kitchen. The quality of Glenn’s food will be recognized at first bite. Side dishes are conveniently found in their deli case to complete your dinner.

–James J Chocolate Shop – There better be a luxurious box of chocolates somewhere in your Valentine’s experience. This shop will make your mouth water, and will become your new favorite specialty store. (Side note- this shop isn’t in Watertown, but it used to be! My first job was in this shop when it was in Watertown, and I will NEVER forget the smells. The tastes were pretty amazing, too).

–Draeger’s Floral – Flowers are amazing and will go a long way, but this shop has more than just flowers…they have an excellent wine selection! Pick up your centerpiece and your dinner wine in one stop.

At the end of the day, what really matters is the time we spend together with our loved ones. Here are some fun ways to create Valentine’s memories.

-Ice Skating (Silver Creek Pond, Heiden Pond)– Weather permitting, ice skating hand-in-hand on a frozen pond is sure to be memorable.

-Stroll in the dark – It gets dark early and that can be to your advantage. Grab your flashlight and take a stroll through the trails of Brandt-Quirk Park. A little solitude with nature on a snowy path is delightful.

-Take a walking tour – Watertown is home to many historic districts that are sure to excite the history buff. Grab a self-guided walking tour brochure, and enjoy going back in time through residential and business districts.

-Take in a movie. The Towne Cinema is taking all necessary precautions to allow the public to enjoy movies in a safe environment. In February, the theater is bringing classic, romantic movies to the screen each week. Only $3 per ticket!
