August 20-21: Friends of the Johnson Creek Library Book Sale & Ice Cream Social
Come to the Johnson Creek Community Center (417 Union Street) on Friday, August 20, and Saturday, August 21, 2021 for the Friends of the Johnson Creek Public Library’s Used Book Sale. Proceeds will be put toward Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. And if you get there between 10am-2pm each day, you may partake in their Summer Ice Cream Social. Ice cream bars are $1 and root beer floats are $3.
August 21:Â Breathe Salt & Sauna Health & Wellness Expo
Check out Breathe Salt & Sauna’s First Annual Health & Wellness Expo form 10am-4pm at their location:Â 480 B Village Walk Lane in Johnson Creek to see more than 70 vendors to learn more about living a healthy lifestyle.
August 21:Â Johnson Creek Historical Society’s Burger & Brat Fry
On this busy weekend, don’t forget to stop by the Johnson Creek Historical Society (110 Aztalan Street) for their tasty burger & brat fry from 10am-1pm to keep your energy up for all those rummage sales and events!

Katie is the President of the Jefferson County Tourism Council and the Tourism & Communications Director for the Village of Johnson Creek. Katie has been in public relations and marketing for over 25 years and worked with some of Milwaukee and Northern California's most sought after tourism attractions such as the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Public Museum, Milwaukee Betty Brinn Children's Museum, Milwaukee Chamber Theater, and the Sonoma County Museum. Her agency work also afforded her the opportunity to work with an array of clients including McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Gitano Jeanswear's sponsorship of Shania Twain's Tour, and many more. She is also an author, having penned the children's book, Balthazar the Pink, with her two sons. She is big on partnerships and brainstorming and loves her work with Johnson Creek and the Jefferson County Area Tourism Council.
