Halloween enthusiasts will find something for all thrill-levels in Jefferson County. Whether you want to visit a haunted house or take a family hike through candlelit woods at night, your adventure starts here!

Cambridge/Oakland

October 1 4pm-7:30pm – Halloween Spooktacular

CAP is partnering with The CD Players to put on a Spooktacular event at Ripley Park! Come out dressed in your best costume for a hayride, a haunted walk, mini pumpkin patch, face painting, games, and so much more! Ripley Park, Oakland

October 8 – Cambridge Fall Fest

This Cambridge Farm to School fundraiser includes a 5K run, chili cook-off, Art Tent, face painting, pumpkin painting, FFA animals, Food & Drinks, beer garden & live music. West Side Park, Cambridge

October 29, 10am-12pm – Cambridge Halloween Costume Parade

Children of all ages (and their families) are invited to show off their Halloween costumes as we parade around Veteran’s Park in downtown Cambridge, followed by a “Trick or Treating Trail” where kids can trick or treat downtown businesses! Downtown Cambridge

Ixonia

October 2,8,9,15,16,22,23,29, 30 – The Dark Side Haunted Adventure

The Dark Side Haunted Adventure is home to eight terrifying attractions!

October 22, 6-8:30pm – G&V Machine Company Trunk or Treat

FREE event hosted by G&V Machine in Ixonia! Dress up in your costume and stop by for treats and fun! N8100 Industrial Dr., Ixonia.

October 30, 10am-2pm – Town of Ixonia Fall Festival 

Join us from 10 am-2 pm on Sunday, October 30th, for Touch-A-Truck, a vendor/farmer’s market, and topping the afternoon off with a costume contest for the kids! The park will be open for the kids to play, and concessions will be available for purchase to support Ixonia Knights Baseball.

Touch-A-Truck: Touch-A-Truck is a family-friendly event where local businesses bring their vehicles for children to climb in, touch, and ask questions! A learning experience for the entire family. Anticipated attendees include Town of Ixonia Fire & EMS, Town of Ixonia Highway Department, LRS Recycling, and more!

Vendor/Farmer’s Market: Do you want to support local businesses? Possibly starting your holiday shopping early? Visit the Fall Festival to see local booths!

Costume Contest: A costume contest for kids ages 0-12 at the end of the afternoon. Every child will receive a gift bag, and the contest winners will receive an additional prize. Keep an eye on the Town of Ixonia Facebook page for more details.

October 20th 4-6PM  – Boo Bash Downtown Trick or Treating

Bring your family downtown on October 20th from 4-6pm for a night of trick or treating from businesses. There will be treats, activities, a photo booth, and a costume contest!

October 22nd 12-7:30PM – Downtown Grand Reopening

Live music, wagon rides, children’s activities, and more!

October 30th 2-5PM – Citywide Trick or Treating

Johnson Creek

October 16, 12-3pm – Best Dressed Scarecrow/Fall Festival at The Johnson Creek Premium Outlets,

Vote for the best-dressed scarecrow as created by participating Johnson Creek Premium Outlets retailers and displayed in their respective store windows. There will also be pumpkin decorating for kids, fall-themed enter-to-win opportunities, and more!

October 21,22,28&29 – Haunted House Charity Event

TNT Terror partnered with Johnson Creek Schools.October 21, 22, 28 & 29 from 630 pm to 1030 pm. $10 CASH ONLY per person. Located in old elementary school. Recommended for ages 12 and up. All proceeds will go to Johnson Creek Education Foundation, Johnson Creek Historical Society and Johnson Creek Schools. Concessions will be available.

October 25, 4-7pm – Community Trick-or-Treat Event at Johnson Creek Premium Outlets

October 31, 5:30-7pm – Trick-or-Treat in Johnson Creek

The Storybook Trail at Brandt-Quirk Park will be lined with paper lanterns so you can enjoy the trail after dark. Bring your flashlight and have fun reading “The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt” along the way. 800 Carriage Hill Dr.

Let’s start the Halloween celebration right! Join the Whitewater Area Chamber of Commerce and local businesses in a Main Street ghoulish good time!  Halloween games & activities, costume contest, spooky stories, trick-or-treating at businesses along the Main St. corridor, and more in Whitewater!

October 7-30, Closing reception on Friday, October 28th at 6pm – Hallow’s Gala Art Exhibit 

The Whitewater Arts Alliance will have a ghoulish exhibit highlighting fantasy, mythology, and folklore the whole month of October. Halloween enthusiasts are welcome!
