It was a balmy, warm June evening as your Pizza Review Crew parked on the street near Biggs Bar & Grill in Watertown, Wisconsin. Everyone was hungry.

No appetizers tonight, just cold libations and lots of delicious pizza.

The tasty, crispy thin crust (the only crust available) held the ingredients well.

The Special – cheese, sausage, mushroom, onion & mozzarella was tasty. We failed to ask for fresh mushrooms, as the canned variety topped our pie. Still tasty and delish.

The Favorite – pepperoni, black olives, onions, mushrooms and cheddar was good, but we were unsure about the choice of cheddar over the more traditional mozzarella. Next time, we would order it with just mozzarella. However, if you are a true cheddar fan, then don’t mess with the recipe and order as described!

The Everything – sausage, pepperoni, black and green olives, onions, mushrooms, green pepper and cheddar was (no pun intended) “everything you could ask for on a pizza.” Ingredients were plentiful and there was nothing but crumbs left on the pizza plate.

The beer was cold and our bellies were full, but we decided to top off the evening with some local ice cream, so we headed over to Mullen’s Dairy Bar Mullen’s Dairy Bar for a creamy cone. Ending a great time out with smooth Mullen’s Dairy ice cream as we sat on benches outside the restaurant watching the world go by (well, at least the Watertown world…) made the end of a perfect evening.
