Throwing a Party to Celebrate 100 Years!
When an organization turns 100 years old, you celebrate! The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce turned 100 in 2020, and we wanted the community to join in our excitement. Think of where the world was in 1920 and all of the monumental changes, pivots, growth, and losses that were experienced since then. How can you possibly recognize the magnitude of all that was accomplished (by so many!) during that time period? You throw a huge party, that’s how!
On June 26, 2021, the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes the public to its 100th Anniversary Celebration & Vendor Fair. This won’t be a small gathering. This will be 7-blocks of fun.
Vendor Fair 10am-5pm
Main street will be closed for the …number vendors that will set up their goods. You’ll find jewelry, décor, dolls, planters, pillowcases, wreathes, glassware, baked goods, fresh-spun cotton candy and SO MUCH MORE! Who doesn’t love a good craft fair?!
Family Tent of Activities 10am-4pm
We wanted this to be a family event, so guests can expect a tent full of family-friendly activities.
Enjoy games and crafts from 10:00am to 1:00pm, then glitter tattoos & balloon animals from 1:30PM to 4:30PM.
Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides 1pm-4pm
J&L Tire and Service Center generously sponsored the wagon-rides so that all rides will be FREE to the public. Bring your phones to capture some family memories as you ride through town.
Watertown Auto Club 2pm Arrival
Do you enjoy classic cars? The Watertown Auto Club arrive at 2pm, and will be parked on the block between 6th and 7th Streets. The road will be closed to traffic so you can safely enjoy a closer look.
Live Entertainment 10am-10pm
We’ll start the day with high-energy. Electro DJs will be providing fun games and spinning the tunes, including a 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s hour. At 4:30pm, Problem of Interest will take the stage for an epic live performance. DS Jukin will take over at 7pm, playing some all-time favorites until 10pm.
Beer-Seltzer-Soda-Water
Quench your thirst at the beer tent. We’ll have beer, hard seltzers, soda and water available from noon-10pm. All alcoholic beverages purchased at the Chamber’s beer tent will be served in a special event cup that can be enjoyed throughout the entire event space (vendor fair, car show, music area, etc.).
Enjoy Watertown
You might be coming for the party, but don’t get lost on the fact that you are in a beautiful historic district. Enjoy the ambiance, and visit the amazing shops that line our 9-block Main Street! Boutiques, gift shops, a book store, a fine jewelry store, Wisconsin’s longest running furniture store, and so much more will be open for your enjoyment.
