The summer of 2020 is looking up in Watertown. With the cancellation and postponements of most events, residents and visitors are looking for new ways to enjoy the summer months. Watertown has many activities to enjoy, including four new sources of entertainment in 2020.

THE MARKET – 210 S. Water Street

The Market is a beautiful historic building in Watertown that houses many of the city’s newest sources of entertainment. Here you will find indoor axe throwing, an old-school arcade, and the rental location for Pedal Cruise Watertown.

Pedal Cruise– You can now pedal through Watertown as a group! You will start and end your pedal adventure from The Market. Pedal Cruise Watertown has three bikes to choose from, one of which holds 11 people (9 adults, 2 children). Whether you are looking to enjoy a family outing, or take your friends on a pub crawl, this is sure to elevate your experience!

Axe throwing – Indoor axe throwing is all the rage and Watertown was excited to welcome Kiss My Axe to the city several months ago. Perfect for date night, family outings, and groups of all sizes, axe throwing is competitive and fun.

The Arcade – Your family won’t forget their trip to the arcade. Over 20 old-school and newer arcade games are ready to challenge you. Enjoy pinball, racing games, pool, air hockey, and more.

GET ON THE RIVER

Watertown has spent recent years analyzing new ways to utilize the Rock River, which runs throughout the city. The first venture was to launch a kayak rental program in 2020 through the Watertown Park and Rec Department.  Currently there are 3 adult kayaks, and 3 children’s kayaks available for rent, seven days a week. Paddle around or dock at one of the city’s waterfront parks to enjoy additional amenities.

OLD FAVORITES

You can also enjoy long-time favorites Skate Express Family Roller Rink, Watertown Bowl, and the re-opening of The Towne Cinema in July.
