APRIL

 

APR 30: Live music by 52nd Street – The Music of Billy Joel. Sponsored by YES! Watertown.  Turner Hall, 301 S. Fourth St. 8pm-11pm

MAY 1: Octagon House Season Opens.

May, September, October open Saturday and Sunday 12pm-3pm.

MAY 3: Watertown Farmers Market Opens for Season

Open Tuesdays, May-October, 7am-noon

Riverside Park, 850 Labaree St.

 

MAY 7: 2nd Annual Whiskey and Wine Walk.   Sample wine and whiskey at 15 various downtown Watertown locations.

 

MAY 14: Watertown Citywide Rummage. Hosted by the Watertown Daily Times. 8am-4pm

 

May 18: Fly-In Food Fest. Theme is I Love America. Enjoy classic brats and Burgers with pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Watertown Municipal Airport, 1741 River Dr. 5pm-7pm

 

MAY 21: Charlie Berens Midwest Survival Tour.  7pm, Turner Hall, 301 S. Fourth St.

 

June

 

JUNE 15: Fly-In Food Fest. Theme is Summer Fiesta. Enjoy tacos, tacos, and more tacos with pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Watertown Municipal Airport, 1741 River Dr., 5-7pm.

 

JUNE 18: Live Music of Cherry Pie at River Bend RV Resort. $20 tickets available the day of the event. Doors open at 7pm. W6940 Rubidell Rd.

 

JUNE 20: Music at the Museum. Outdoor concert series on the grounds of the Octagon House Museum, Harold and the Doby Effects (70’s and 80’s pop and motown). 919 Charles St., Watertown, 6:30-8pm.

 

JUNE 25: Tour Da Goose. Ride to support the Rock River Community Clinic for 12, 22, 42, 62, or 100 mile routes. Riverside Park, 850 Labaree St.

 

JUNE 25: Watertown Community Celebration and Vendor Fair. Children’s activities, and a HUGE vendor fair. Downtown Watertown, 9am-5pm

 

July

 

JULY 4: 4th of July Parade. Huge 130+ unit parade in historic downtown Watertown, 10am.

 

JULY 18: Music at the Museum. Outdoor concert series on the grounds of the Octagon House Museum, featuring Bruce A. Henry (smooth jazz and standards.) 919 Charles St., Watertown, 6:30-8pm.

 

JULY 21: Downtown Watertown Craft Beer Walk. Sample craft beers at various downtown locations.

 

August

 

AUG 4: Watertown Public Library’s Garden Tales Farmers Market Opens for the Season. 3-6pm, Watertown Public Library.

 

AUG 11-14: Watertown Riverfest. 4-day music festival featuring national acts. Music, food, carnival rides, midway games, huge craft fair, huge car show, roving acts, and more! Watertown, Riverside Park, 850 Labaree St.

 

AUG 17: Fly-In Food Fest. Theme is Hawaiian Night. Enjoy a pork and corn roast with pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Watertown Municipal Airport 5-7pm.

 

AUG 22: Music at the Museum. Outdoor concert series on the grounds of the Octagon House Museum. 919 Charles St., Watertown, 6:30-8pm.

 

AUG 20: Live Music of Jerrod Niemann at River Bend RV Resort. $20 tickets available the day of the event. W6940 Rubidell Rd., Watertown.

 

September

 

SEPT 8: 6th Annual Downtown Watertown Wine Walk. Enjoy white and red wine samples at various locations in downtown Watertown.

 

SEPT 11: Watertown Airport Community Day. Enjoy a pancake breakfast, static displays, airplane rides, demos, and more! Watertown Municipal Airport, 1741 River Dr.

 

SEPT 17: Watertown Citywide Rummage. Hosted by the Watertown Daily Times. 8am-4pm, wdtimes.com.

 

SEPT 17: Watertown Donut Dash 5k. 5K run/walk and 1K youth run sponsored by the Watertown Police Department to raise awareness and assistance to people affected by domestic violence.

 

SEPT 18: Octagon House Ice Cream Social with 1st Brigade Band. Nationally recognized 1st Brigade Band will play Civil War era music on antique instruments. Enjoy ice cream and a variety of cakes.  919 Charles St., Watertown, 1:30-4pm.

 

SEPT 21: Fly-In Food Fest. Theme is Tailgate Time. Enjoy tailgating and cornhole tournament with pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Watertown Municipal Airport, 1741 River Dr., 5-7pm.

 

SEPT 24: Music for Murals. Dance the night away with Cold Sweat and the Brew City Horns, an 8 piece show band playing the best current and classic pop dance music. Turner Hall, 301 S. Fourth St.

 

October

 

OCT 15: 1st Brigade Band Harvest Ball. Watertown’s nationally renowned  1st Brigade Band plays live music on period antique brass instruments while guests dance to waltzes, polkas & reels of that era. Period dress encouraged. Turner Hall, 301 S 4th St., 7pm-10pm

 

OCT 29: Pumpkin Palooza. Fun for the whole family! Downtown Watertown business trick-or-treat, 1-3pm.

 

OCT 29: Watertown Citywide Trick-or-Treat. 4-7pm

 

November

 

NOV 18-20: Women’s Only Weekend. Store specials, SWAG bag filled with samples, coupons, and Ladies Loot. Saturday evening celebration with raffles and entertainment. Downtown Watertown.

 

NOV 20: Turner Hall Craft Fair. Two floors of fresh wreaths, hand-crafted décor, jewelry, and much more! Turner Hall, 301 S 4th St., 8am-3pm.

 

NOV 24: Run Turkey Run 5k. Start your Thanksgiving holiday with a scenic 5k run/walk and 1k kids fun run. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and females along with top 3 in each age division. Enjoy music before, during, and after the race.

 

NOV 26-27: Octagon House Annual Holiday Play. Four-scene play set in the historic Octagon House Museum. Performances every half hour. 919 Charles St., Watertown, 11am-3pm,

 

NOV 26: Christmas Parade of Lights. Enjoy an after-dark parade full of unique floats, bands, and lots and lots of lights! Downtown Watertown, 5:30pm.

 

December

 

DEC 1-18: Watertown Window Wonderland. Enjoy nine blocks of Watertown’s historic Main Street dressed in its holiday best. Vote for your favorite downtown window displays.

 

DEC 4: Watertown Holiday Parade of Homes. Tour 5-6 beautiful Watertown homes dressed in their holiday best. 1-5pm.
