The Parks Department has a variety of shelters that are available to rent. If you are thinking of hosting your family reunion, wedding, birthday party, graduation party or other special event at one of the Jefferson County Park shelters, please visit our website to reserve your date.

Shelter reservations for any of the park shelters can be made by reserving online and/or contacting the Parks Department by phone. Park shelters are reserved on a daily basis during daylight hours (any activities related to your rental must occur between sunrise/sunset on the date reserved). Rental fees vary by shelter size and amenities offered.

• Pohlmann County Park, Helenville
• Rock Lake County Park – Lower, Lake Mills*
• Rock Lake County Park – Upper, Lake Mills
• Rock River County Park, Johnson Creek
• Rome Pond County Park, Rome
• Welcome Travelers County Park, Whitewater

Please note that there are additional fees for placement of tents/bouncy houses/etc. The Parks Department does not have these items for rent – you must find a private vendor.

The Jefferson County Parks Department would also like to remind citizens that if you are hosting an event at a county park where over 20 people will be in attendance, a group permit is required. There is a $10 special event charge for this permit. The notification assists the Parks Department with their planning and notification of repairs, construction, etc. that are occurring in the parks.
