The barn quilt on the garage of Stephanie and Jose Rios was hung by Don and Nancy Truman, the previous owners. The Rios family bought the property in 2021. The quilt represents patriotism and the Truman family members have served in the military including their son, Aaron, who served in Afghanistan. The quilt was ordered from Remillard Signs. The building is a turn-of-the-century carriage house. Today it is used as a garage. Former owner, Nancy Truman, felt the quilt needed to stay with the house which was fitting because the Rios family is also a military family.
