Light up the Night Community Bike Ride

Join us for an afterhours FREE and FUN bike ride on the Glacial River Bike trail.

The ride will be held right at sundown. Bring your bike lights, taillights, and other bicycle illuminations and gadgets for a fun afterhours bike parade to Light Up the Night on the Glacial River Trail.  This is a 10-mile ride, 100% on the Glacial River Trail with a rest stop at Crawfish River Park. There will be snacks and extra water.

The ride is being sponsored by our generous community businesses and organizations in an effort to promote community health, bike safety, and to recognize all the amazing recreational opportunities our communities have to offer.  To make the event extra special, sponsors have allowed us to provide free bicycle helmets to the first 75 kids who sign up, free hi-vis T-Shirts to the first 200 registrants, 100 bike lights, and more free giveaways.

On-site event check-in the day of the event to collect your shirts, helmets, bike lights, and more.
Safe Kids South Central Wisconsin and the Jefferson County Health Department will help fit your kids with their new helmets and to fix lights to the bikes.
