Event Details

Are you a Wisconsinite interested in working on a civic project to improve your community?

We invite you and any individual from across South-central Wisconsin interested in stronger communities, bridging across difference, and deepening and broadening civic engagement to apply to participate in an exciting non-partisan program: Uniting for Wisconsin’s Civic Health. Through this program, Wisconsinites will strengthen collaboration skills and work across differences to address community challenges.

On Saturday, June 10, 9am – 4pm, we will host a full-day in-person gathering hosted in Waterloo. Alongside the constructive dialogue frameworks, this gathering will include dedicated group time to develop ideas for ‘tactical civic projects’. Lunch will be provided.

This event is a collaborative effort by the UW–Madison’s Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies, the story-telling platform Love Wisconsin, and the national non-profit Urban Rural Action.
