Jefferson County is situated in one of the most picturesque regions of Wisconsin. Any time during the year you can take off in your car, by bicycle, or motorcycle and drive one of the many officially designated Rustic Roads and Scenic Drives of Wisconsin. The communities of Jefferson County boast 6 beautiful drives and one of the most popular is the 115-mile Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive and the southern end of the drive begins at Whitewater Lake. Along your drive, there are numerous places to picnic, hike, fish, swim, and check out historical markers and sites. Biking Jefferson County

The official scenic drives and Rustic Roads aren’t the only way to travel around our communities. Jefferson County also has many biking trails you can take advantage of. These biking trails take you through beautiful countryside and often into the heart of our quaint downtown districts. You can see all the routes on one map by visiting the parks page on the Jefferson County government site, but here are a few of the most scenic trails.
