Meet Cheyenne and Rick! This couple said their “I dos” in August of 2021 at The Fort Atkinson Club.

Where are you and your partner originally from?

Cheyenne: Evansville, WI & Rick: Nisswa, MN

How did you meet?

I (Cheyenne) moved to Duluth in 2014 to live with my college friend, B. Rick & I had many mutual friends (as Rick went to college at UMD) who were trying to set us up almost as soon as I moved there. Then, New Years Eve of 2014 into 2015, we kissed at midnight and the rest is history!

What made you choose your venue?

The price and value for The Fort Atkinson Club was unmatched. We had so much freedom to do what we wanted for food and drinks, and weren’t tied down to a 3rd party vendor or food options. Also, the fact that it has amazing views on the Rock River and is so close to my (Cheyenne’s) childhood home made it feel special. Plus, having indoor and outdoor places for guests to hang out was really nice in the summer.
